Küsimus:
Dear Competition crew,

in Description for Room C49 it says "without windows". Does that mean that the room has no windows or does it mean, that possible windows should not be taken into consideration concerning the relation of walls to size of room?
Thank you. Best regards.
Vastus:
Unfortunatly, according to general condition point 3.2.2. "Questions regarding clarification about the architectural competition can be submitted until October 15, 2005 (date of receipt)".
We appologize, but we cannot answer to Your questions any more, because Your question was sent to us in October 17.

Am I mistaken??
Vastus:

Küsimus:
dear team:

building:

the area is large - we think for this place it would not be a good idea to go up very high - how far apart from each other may storage and sience areas be to exhibition rooms

A16 – A18
should these rooms form a integrated whole
or may conference hall – autitorium I – auditorium II be located on different places

thank you
best regards
Vastus:
Your first question is too direct. Competition comitee cannot answer to this questions.
A16 - A18 these rooms form a integrated whole or may conference hall - auditorium, auditorium II be located on different places.
They could locate also in different places.

Küsimus:
1. Can you tell me if the existing buildings in our site shown with a hatch in autocad in the layer ‘piiranguvoondidneed’ need to be preserved or kept?
2. Can you tell me what the level of the pond is at the top and bottom and if it is OK to drain it and build over it or is there a possibility that it can be cleaned up?
3. Do the areas in the brief include circulation, ie the brief says 28,600 net. Does this mean we have to add circulation to this?
Vastus:
1. Object to be preserved are marked on map “object to preserve”: http://www.museumcompetition.org/uploads/files/objects_to_be_preserved.pdf
Other buildings are allowed to demolish.
2. The pond is approximately 1-2 meters deep. Pond can be removed or reshaped.
3. We are sorry, but we do not understand this question.

Küsimus:
To Whom It May Concern
On two occassions, I forwarded questions that I regard of utmost importance.
Unfortunately to date there is no reply.
I try again and hope there will be some reaction to them:
1/ Would it be possible - as an alternate to the 1:800 scale model - to submit computer rendered 3D images prepared from different viewpoints?
2/ The explanatory text on the survey indicates "Area for museum housing". Does it mean: site allocated for the museum complex?
Again: your kind and prompt answer will be greatly appreciated.
Vastus:
We apologize for a delay – we answer the questions as soon as possible. Some questions need more time to answer. We apologize for that.
1. Model on scale 1:800 must be presented; 3D models can not be presented as model. It is aloud to present 3D models as extra materials additional to model.
2. “Area for museum housing” is for museum complex required with room program.
